How to Live in Alignment with Your Soul

The most important thing right now, on the Planet, as the planet shifts and the collective shifts, is that we as humans learn to live our lives from our hearts, instead of our minds.
For a long time we've been governed by our thoughts and our minds, believing this is the only reality that exists.
But the truth is, there is so much more to live than we can understand and comprehend with our minds.
They say the heart is the gateway to Heaven, and that the heart is electromagnetically stronger than the mind.
Then my question is, why do so many of us operate from our minds as a default system?
What is mind control? Have you ever heard this word and have you ever been curious about it? Do you believe mind control exists? Outside of ourselves? Inside of ourselves?
And why can it feel scary, to let go of the mind, to surrender the mind to the heart or surrender to the fact that there may be something greater outside of ourselves or inside of ourselves (it's the same thing) than the mind?
I've heard that the last attempts the mind tries to do on us before it releases its grip on us is to take our deepest fears up for introspection. You know the fears we wouldn't even talk to others about, or the fears we aren't even conscious of ourselves because they are and have been deeply buried in our unconscious?
The mind is a beautiful gift, a beautiful tool to learn, to use, but it was never created or designed or made to be in charge or control. When the mind is control, and if it bases its control out of false beliefs and or fears, it becomes very negative, and very strong. The mind usually wants to protect itself, from its own image or belief, because it basically lives from the identification of the images that is inside of it.
Following our Soul takes courage, because the Soul operates outside of the mental realm, the Soul is infinite, and the mind is finite. The mind can get us far, to a certain point, but then something else must take over and that is usually the Soul. For us to live in alignment with our Soul we must trust it, and we must trust the unknown, because the Soul, for many of us, if we've lived our whole live operating and relying on our mind, is unknown. When making decisions many of us asks our mind, what should I do in this situation, or how should I handle this situation. The mind can help you and it usually will do its best, but if you look at it as a computer, who usually only stores data and storage from previous experiences, it can be sort of limited to give you information that you may need.
Here is where the Soul comes in, here is where the Soul is the answer. Now, where does the soul reside? Where is the soul present? Is it even a real thing? The mind would love to ponder and occupy itself with these questions, instead of just releasing control and surrendering the mind.
The Soul is beyond all of that noise, the soul is beyond your emotions, your feelings, your self-image, your identifications, your pains, your fears, your past, your future and your thoughts.
The Soul is that everlasting Spark of love, truth, honesty and all beautiful things, that somehow got buried and forgotten when you came into this world.
The Soul can not disappear or go away, but we can turn away from it and ignore it. But just because we ignore it or go away from it, doesn't mean that IT goes away. It's just us who leaves it.
And why do we leave it sometimes?
Because it's painful. We are dealing with painful situations, inside of ourselves or outside of ourselves, due to unforseen happenings or foreseen happenings. Due to distractions, mental chatters, ''to-do'' lists or other things we have given our power away to, believing is important, crucial or neccesary for our survival. But the soul, the true you, is already alive, and it is waiting to come out and play. To take the front-seat, to take the wheels and to drive, but you must let go of your need of control, in order to have it take your place. Having the Soul lead your life will feel so much better and effortless than having the limited mind trying to control and navigate and plan and analyze everything.
Once again, there is nothing wrong with the mind, or to live a life from the mind, it's a choice and an option. But there is another way.
And if the old way isn't working then it's on us to do what we have got to do to survive.
So how do we live our lives from the Soul? And how do we connect to it?
First we must accept that it is there, acknowledge it, and honour it, almost bowing to it. Then we can start speaking to it, ''Hey soul (this may feel a bit ridicolous in the beginning) I want you to take the lead, I am tired of this, and I am ready for you to take over.''
Sometimes the Soul just needs our permission, to exist, to be there.
In our world, we loose touch and connection with our soul easily and fast, especially if we are born into a program, and a world that serves an egoistical agenda and has a one-sided (mental) way of looking at the world. It can truly feel suffocating for the Soul and Spirit to exist that way, and that is because we are not meant to. Many people are suffering from burn out, depression, feelings of being lost, anxiousness and other ''disorders'' - and these are all signs to one thing, something is missing, and it's the Soul.
So, good luck to you that it never went away, and that the answer sometimes is more easy than we think or can imagine. Return to the Soul. Return to the Heart. Return to Love.
Next step after acknowledging your soul is to start noticing when you go up into the head, meaning when you leave your soul, and start to analyse or just loose yourself in thought. There is no judgment here and nothing wrong but it's a game of notice. Just notice every time you have given your power away to your mind (through believing the thoughts or beliefs it has) and left your Soul. It will feel complicated, difficult and null.
The Soul will always make you feel enveloped and held. Almost like being caressed by a loved one.
Then start to act on your Souls whispers, let's say the soul asks for quiet, give it quiet, or it asks for nature, trust it and give it. More and more you will merge with your Soul and it will feel like a beautiful home-coming.
Other ways to connect with your Soul is to surround yourself with beautiful things and items, that you love, flowers, crystals, beautiful images and posters, jewellery, candles and or scents - anything that invokes the Soul and makes the Soul feel comfortable and welcome to your Space.
Imagine the Soul as a visitor, would you invite your Soul to your current home, would you let it wear your current clothes or go through the things you're doing daily as ''routines'' or ''habits'' - would you even think certain things if your Soul was there? Changing habits and thoughts along the Soul is a beautiful way of integrating and changing and also - evolving. Because when we align with love we evolve. We rise in love.
Cheers to coming home to oneself,
Kind regards,
